iiRDS Request API released for comments

Last year, the iiRDS Consortium specified the requirements for the request part of iiRDS and put the development of the request API out to tender. Since November 2023, Empolis Information Management GmbH and ICMS GmbH have been developing the basics and a detailed API specification in accordance with the requirements from the tender and providing the iiRDS Tools Validation Content working group with monthly updates in their sprint meetings.

The iiRDS API specification offers system providers and programmers a standardized interface, ensuring modern and state-of-the-art functionality to support seamless integration. It also offers extended capabilities by covering a broad range of use cases and allows developers to choose the most suitable query method for their specific needs.

The Request API specification is now available as a Draft Release for Comments here along with instructions.
